Cat-n-Around Catskill 2008
“A Summer Long Celebration”

The cure for Cat’n Around Catskill 2007 “withdrawal” is on the way. 
On Sunday, February 3rd the Artists and Sponsors met at a reception held at BRIK Gallery on Main Street in Catskill.  Sponsors faced the daunting task of selecting the design for their cat from over ninety artist’s submissions for this year’s
Cat’n Around Catskill 2008 Celebration. 

The litter of plain white kitties have now arrived from Chicago and are going home with the artists to be transformed over the next two months into incredibly talented works of art.  This year you will meet “Pussy Willow”,  “Phil”- The Philatelic Feline, Catson Pollock, Aero Cat and “Copurrnicus” just to name a few.  

The highly anticipated release of the second litter of curious kitties will occur this
Memorial Day weekend in the Village of Catskill.
This year’s celebration will feature 62 fabulous felines along Main Street and West Bridge Street throughout the entire summer, culminating in the 2nd Cat’s Meow Auction and Gala on Sunday, September 21st at The Historic Catskill Point.
